Commercial HVAC services

Fabricated in our own sheet metal shop

Most HVAC contractors order custom ductwork and fittings from an outside shop and wait. We have our own sheet metal fabrication shop, so transitions, plenums, curb adapters and full duct systems are designed, built and installed by the same team. That means faster turnaround and parts that fit the first time, especially on renovations, tenant fit-outs and larger homes. See custom ductwork fabrication.

One team for the whole project

As part of Lancaster Group, we can coordinate electrical, plumbing, sheet metal and combustion work alongside your heating and cooling. On projects that need more than one trade, you get one point of contact, one schedule and one accountable team.

  1. Site visit and assessment

We walk the building and review your existing equipment, roof and mechanical access, and how each space is used.

Rooftop, split or ductless: we size the equipment for the load and lay out options from every brand we carry.

  3. One detailed proposal

An itemized scope covering equipment, sheet metal, and any electrical, plumbing or gas work, so nothing falls between trades.

  4. Installation planned around you

Crane lifts, shutdowns and noisy work are scheduled to keep your tenants, staff and customers comfortable.

Questions from business owners and property managers

Can you fabricate ductwork and sheet metal for a commercial project?

Yes. We have our own sheet metal fabrication shop, so we design, build and install custom ductwork and sheet metal for new builds, renovations and tenant fit-outs without waiting on an outside supplier. Transitions, plenums, curb adapters and full duct systems are designed, built and installed by the same team, so parts fit the first time.

Do you work on larger commercial or industrial projects?

Yes. Tell us about your project and we'll put the right team on it, whatever its size. Include the type of building, the equipment involved and your timeline, and we'll follow up to arrange a site visit and assessment of your building.

How do refrigerant regulations affect our commercial equipment?

You can keep running and servicing existing equipment, but supply rules are tightening. In Ontario, refrigerants must be handled by certified technicians. Older units using R-22 can only be serviced with recovered or reclaimed refrigerant, which makes major repairs costly. New equipment is moving to lower global warming refrigerants, which our technicians are trained to handle. See new refrigerant regulations.

Can you provide insurance certificates, WSIB clearance and other paperwork?

Yes. We provide the paperwork businesses and property managers ask for on commercial work, including certificates of insurance and WSIB clearance. We're a TSSA registered contractor with a Certificate of Recognition (COR) health and safety program, and members of HRAI and ORAC (the Ontario Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors Association).

What Our Commercial Clients Say

Being a small medical building, we had a complete overhaul on the HVAC system. The Team Lead Keith, is an amazing guy, high knowledge. Answered any and all questions with regards to scheduling, installation, or just any real curiosity questions. The installers Matt & Trevor are great, timely, proper manners, cleaned up after work was completed per floor. They tried to keep everything running smoothly as the property was open for business at the same time. There were a few other gentlemen on-site during this renovation ( I remember the names Max & Eric), as they were assisting with either bring in the new air handlers, or assisting with removal of old condensers and install of the new ones. We have even had Lancaster for a service call with regards to a minor boiler issue, and also for a recirculator pump replacement. Steve was on call that day, and he is not only down to earth, but great sense of humor, and took care of the work in a solid, timely manner. Honestly, this is one of the better companies I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Definitely worth the time and investment to have them take care of any and all needs

Serviced our restaurant serval times. One of the service calls was a repeat issue from the past and they didn’t charge us for it. Finding skilled and honest service providers is nearly impossible these days. Lancaster has earned our trust for years to come!
